About NEJ Running Club
Formed in 1987, NEJ are a well established running club, well equipped to cater for runners and joggers of all abilities. In addition to our running, we have a comprehensive programme of social activities throughout the year.
Our home is The Pavilion Sports and Leisure Club, 135 Footscray Road, Eltham SE9 where we meet up every Wednesday and Friday evening for a prompt 7pm start, where we like to mix our running schedules with regular fitness evenings with our qualified coach.
On top of this, if you like to take in the Kent country side, then why not join us for a nice social Sunday morning run at Honeydale Farm, Ruxley.
SUMMER CRICKET AT THE PAVILION
NEJ players needed
The cricket season is about to start at The Pavilion, where once again, we have the opportunity to pit our skills (couldn’t think of a better description), against the other clubs affiliated to the club. The matches will take place on each Friday night from 11th May through to 31st August starting at 6.30pm sharp.
This is an 8 a side game, but we would like as many of you to put yourselves forward as we can mix the team up from the squad for our fixtures. Plese contact John Williams as quickly as you can either at the club, or via email: email@example.com
Thank you in advance.

Not just a walk in the park!
Why not join…
Steve Freeman, who has kindly agreed to start a new walking group on Wednesday club nights from The Pavilion.
These walks will be ‘brisk’ and varied and are intended to suit those of us recovering from injury, not up to running or just fancy a walk to work up a thirst before retiring to the bar!
(And of course there’s the added appeal of Steve’s full repertoire of pathetic jokes).
If you’d like to join in please find Steve on a Wednesday night and give it a go.
Registering for upcoming events
Please note that if you want to enter any of the races stated in the events calendar, please ensure that you do so as early as you can, particularly the Grand Prix events to avoid disappointment, as many are filled very quickly.
